  • Just came back from the clinic. Had three stitches on my feet and a tetanus jab. I accidentally kicked on a galvanized zinc plate on the floor just outside my office. How come? Minor interior renovation going on. A few workers are setting up partition for my new associate.

When it happened, I didn’t feel a thing. However, I have not seen so much of my blood for a long time. Perhaps the past time was the bicycle accident in Melaka  bout 11 years ago. I guess I have been very fortunate and protected for 11 years. Did God lifted His protection. I don’t think so. I guess I am just very careless. At least one thing I’ve learned – look where you’re going before walking towards that direction.

The doctor – Tan Wei Wei – asked me not to wet the wound for a week. That means no swimming for a week. I think I won’t be able to do much sports too. Perfect excuse for not going out of my office for a week. Perhaps, its intimate time with God. We’ll see.

  • Read a mail today.  I find it helpful and hope you will too.

Joyce Meyer says, "Keep a diary, a book of remembrance, of special things that God does for you. Include little things as well as major things. Read over your list at least once a week and you will be encouraged."

  • I decided to change the color scheme. From blue to gray. I think I am going thru a phase. I feel neither here nor there. I do not know what kind of transition is this. I find myself enjoying things that I hate – reading books. Of all books, I am reading history. I actually want to get off work and read history. Many things in life look and seems tasteless. I have yet to find an answer but I know somehow I will. I should be overjoyed and have no reason not to… really. There is nothing bad happening and things are going my way. I lack nothing. There is nothing I want. I am sure in solitude and silence much will make sense.

  • I am really not good at keeping journals. Don't even have time to reflect. Life is like a bullet train. I hear lots of "congratulations" these days. I graduated, had my installation and now getting married. Don't really know what all these means. One of my goal this year is to keep a journal. Well, I wanna make it a public one. Hope this will work coz the last entry was like half a year ago. All the best Joshua!!!
